FC Dila Gori won two matches in a row
On 26th of November in Gori, on ,,Tengiz Burjanadze” stadium was held a Georgian Umaglesi Liga match between Dila Gori and Kolkheti Poti.
It was a good match to watch. There was some decent moments, but was only one goal scored. FC Dila Gori was a better side and deservedly won this clash.
First remembering moment was on twelfth minute of the match, when Tengiz Tsikaridze from Dila Gori made a good cross into the opponent’s box, where his teammate Levan Nonikashvili won the ball and shoot it well, but the goalkeeper produced a good save and didn’t let the ball to pass the line.
The hosts stepped up the pressure on its opponent and two minutes later, Giga Samkharadze shoot from distance very well, when he got a good pass from Tsikaridze, but unfortunately nearly missed the shot.
Soon they got a deserved goal. On eighteenth minute of the match FC Dila Gori scored a goal. Giorgi Eristavi made a good run on the flank and passed three of his opponents, and near the front of the goal made a good pass to Davit Kapanadze, who did it well from close range shot and changed the score-line – 1:0.
Despite this the hosts continued to attack and had some good chances. First, Nonikashvili shoot from distance, but the goalkeeper had no problem. Then Eristavi was close to score, but at the end the opponent’s defender played well and took the ball from his legs.
At the end of the first half FC Kolkheti had their first moment. After the cross into the box Niqabadze won the ball by his head and shoot from close range, but Mujrishvili made a great save.
In the second half, when the match just begun, Dila Gori had an opportunity to score, but finally defenders cleared the ball.
On forty-eighth minute of the match there was a verbal abuse between two players and the main referee showed both of them red card and the teams played the rest of minutes with ten men. One of them was our Capitan Aleksandre Kvakhadze who left the pitch and from opposite side was Romaldanov.
After this, the managers made substitutions. On 51st minute of the match, when Dila Gori was attacking the opponent, Nonikashvili was badly tackled by a defender and players wanted a penalty, but the referee didn’t see anything wrong.
On 59th minute, Kapanadze made a good run, but instead of hitting the ball, stopped to wait his teammates and suddenly lost the ball.
On 85th minute of the match, Kalandarishvili had a great opportunity, when he came on the pitch from substitutes, but his one-on-one shot was saved by a goalkeeper. After two minutes he had another chance, but this time the defender blocked the shot.
At the end of the match Dila Gori had another good opportunity. After a good pass Eliauri went through the opponent sides box and shoot well, but the keeper made a good save and after this the match was ended.
FC Dila Gori earned an important 3 points and are through the Umaglesi Liga relegation qualifications, where his opponent will be Guria from Lanchkhuti, which finished on 6th place. First match will be held on 1st of December in Lanchkhuti and the second leg will be played on 6th of December in Gori.
